Located in Atlanta, Piedmont Investment Advisory is an independent investment management firm founded in 1989 by our General Partner, William C. Brookshire, Jr.  We manage the portfolios of individuals, foundations, retirement plans, and two private investment partnerships.  

The Advisory’s primary investment objective is to provide long-term capital growth while strictly limiting the risk of loss.  The Advisory attempts to achieve this objective with proper investment selection and active asset allocation.  Portfolios are invested in a combination of long equity positions, short equity positions, bonds, and cash equivalents based on the current market environment and the account objectives.
